Over New Year’s weekend, we launched a little facelift to the site in addition to our biggest feature since opening the site: our new forums! It was the most-requested feature in the survey we ran a few weeks ago (results to be published in a few days), and we’re so excited to see what it’ll do for the UNCHARTED community.
Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue to improve the forums by adding features like user profiles and more interface refinements. Be sure to let us know if you’d like anything else in the introduction thread, too.
Over the past year, we’ve grown from a few hundred monthly visits to about 5,000 unique monthly visits. Facebook likes, tweets and retweets have skyrocketed over the past few months, we’re almost about to hit 1,000 followers on our Twitter account! Comments on our articles have increased, making it clear readers have a lot to say, but comments aren’t as flexible as a full-fledged forum system.
We’ve noticed a number of the more-active UNCHARTED-focused sites haven’t been updated much over the past year and other forums have started to turn into ghost towns. Our forums, while being a most-requested feature, are dependent on you to keep them active and filled with great conversations about UNCHARTED and the cast and crew around them.
You’ve made All Things UNCHARTED the largest active UNCHARTED-focused community in the world outside of NaughtyDog.com’s forums, and that’s awesome! Keep reading, keep tweeting, keep liking, keep playing… and now, keep talking!
2011 has a lot of new opportunities and things in store for all of us, especially UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception, and it’s only getting started!
