UNCHARTED 3 DLC Codes Selling on Open Market via eBay

While not exactly illegal, it’s not smiled upon either; DLC codes for UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception have been spotted on eBay, originally reported by Dualshock Nexus.

The codes, which were given out at PAX East 2011, aren’t yet active, and will come in ample supply for pre-order promotions and buzz-generation giveaways, sold on one eBay auction for up to $110. It seems some will do anything to get a coveted DLC code, even if cheaper means are available through official channels later.

Gotta admit, I bought a Navarro DLC code when Uncharted 2 came out - got burned though because the US code wouldn't work with my UK PSN account! Handed it over to a buddy and he gotta be the mysterious Spaniard instead.

It's a little bit ridiculous that someone would pay that much for a code though, especially so when the details of what it unlocks are completely unknown! Like ballantine3 said it could just be a different t-shirt for Nate :P

I know I certainly wouldn't pay $110 for it- that's almost the (Australian) price of a brand-new PS3 game! As much as I love Uncharted, why would you pay so much money just so your character can run around Multiplayer wearing a different T-shirt? lol
