Uncharted Weather for iPhone features weather-specific backgrounds, indicator animations and interactive easter eggs to let you customize the display to your liking.

Some people make wallpapers, or change their instant messenger status message, or tweet or set aside a calendar to count down to the launch of UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception. Some people take it to the next level; some people make iPhone applications for that exact purpose. But a countdown itself isn’t very useful, unless you give it another purpose.

Friendly developer and UNCHARTED fan Marko Radakovic, representing the UNCHARTED fans in Canada, took it upon himself to make a weather application, throw it into an Uncharted environment and add the countdown to it. The result: Uncharted Weather for iPhone. This $0.99 app (hey, he spent some time on this!) features Retina Display graphics, animations and Uncharted-themed backgrounds with accurate weather information and a customizable layout.

Uncharted Weather dazzles with its clean layout and lush Retina Display visuals. Miles away from a typical clinical look, it has style and spirit that are tribute to Uncharted game series, displays the countdown to the Uncharted 3 release, and uses modified visuals from the game to present weather conditions.

Marko is the latest fan to contribute back to the UNCHARTED community, this time with an interactive countdown. Now all we need is a fan to make time go faster, or to move the launch date up.
