After being confirmed as one of the headline sponsors for the UK’s first ever GAMEfest, PlayStation wasted no time in announcing that the highly anticipated UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception will be playable at the event.
Set to be held between 16th and 18th September, GAMEfest, hosted by Europe’s leading games retailer GAME, comes to the UK as an alternative to London’s EuroGamer Expo, held a week later. The event will be the first opportunity for UK fans to get their hands on the latest from the Uncharted franchise which is set for the later release date of 4th November in Britain. Taking place at the Birmingham NEC the event, which has already taken off in Spain, looks to become a regular appearance in the diaries of British gamers.
“We are delighted to support GAMEfest 2011, and thrilled to offer UK consumers the opportunity to be able to get hands-on with our latest line up including the much anticipated Resistance 3 and the sequel to last year’s game of the year – Uncharted 3.”
Tickets to the event are now on sale at £10 for an adult, per day, and £5 for children under the age of 12 and are exclusively available to GAME reward card holders.
