You may have seen the image above posted on a post by The Game Fanatics about the mo-cap pics which are doing the rounds on Twitter. This image seems to have been picked up by the Playstation Commuinty as possibly being the face of the Uncharted villain. The inclusion of the image on the post is a little confusing as it seems to have little to do with its content, yet definitely *suggests* context. It is also a little odd that the initial reaction was that it is specifically the villain. Why? Does someone know something we don’t?

With a little help from my friends, I have been able to discover that the image dates to January 2012 (at the latest) and to a guy to whom I have been unable to yet link Naughty Dog. It seems to be a sample or a test image for a portfolio, but was used on this post hypothetically talking about how amazing a future Naughty Dog game could look. Not saying it isn’t Uncharted related, but my head says this is the face of Bobby Cannavale from Boardwalk Empire in Maya form. For whatever reason.
