Overnight All Things UNCHARTED had been copied in on a Twitter conversation involving the joint account of Marianne and Cormac Wibberley, the Uncharted screenwriters. The conversation, initiated by another user, was loosely about the casting of the most important role up for grabs; Nathan Drake. Presented with an image of Chris Pratt (of Parks and Rec and Guardians of the Galaxy) their response was that he would be “the dream”.

There is a lot of hopeful inference going on in my mind, and the choice won’t ultimately be theirs, but that they have picked someone in their own minds who would, let’s face it, make an awesome Nathan Drake suggests that they know what they are doing with this script. We hope this rubs off on the studio and the director, and not just in terms of the casting.
