We all know Nolan North as the voice and movement behind our hero; Nathan Drake (and many… MANY other game characters). We don’t see him that frequently in TV or film these days (Pretty Little Liars being an exception, of course). However, he will appear in what is being described as a ‘small role’ in the upcoming sequel to 2009’s Star Trek.

According to reports, because his work as Nathan Drake is so loved by J.J. Abrams, and Abrams is a genuine UNCHARTED fan, the director had to cast him. I suspect this is only a part of the casting choice, but it makes a good story. As yet we don’t know who or what North will be playing, but we look forward to it none the less.

When quizzed by a fan on Twitter to reveal some Star Trek secrets, Nolan, probably unsurprisingly was tight lipped, saying that Abrams would kill him if he let any cats out of any bags.

So we will just have to go and see the film!
